Arjuna and his team turned our journey to Sri Lanka into a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Before the vacation he consulted us about the current situation and together we planned our stay and activities. During our roadtrip the whole team saw to our needs and safety as a family of four making sure we had excellent accomodation, a balanced mixture of cultural sites, nature experiences and immersion into day-to-day life.

Right from the first contact to scheduling the trip to executing, Mr Arjuna was very supportive and extremely responsive and hence traveling with family and kids was very comfortable and smooth. The warm welcome offered to the country by Mr. Eric, was very much appreciated, there wasn’t any uncertainties and hiccups as the trip scheduled meticulously taking into consideration all it likes and dislikes. Mr Eric who is gem of a person , made sure all of us were very comfortable and guided us through out the trip. Even before our trip ended we were already thinking of our next srilanka trip with Travel Cafe and Mr Eric. Highly recommend Travel Cafe, you will feel they are extended family.

We had a wonderful family holiday in Sri Lanka – Arjuna did wonderful job with all of our arrangements which gave us peace of mind. He was very prompt to respond, detail oriented and informative. Great knowledge of places and helpful tips. We had a miscommunication on the date of our arrival, turned out I made a mistake and told Arjuna we were arriving on Sunday where in fact we were arriving on Saturday. Within a few hours Arjuna made all the necessary changes, communicated with hotels and rearranged everything to the new date of arrival. We were met by a wonderful driver Sandamal who spent the next 9 days with us and shared his knowledge and passion for Sri Lanka. His driving was excellent and we enjoyed his calm presence. We tasted delicious foods prepared by local people in authentic traditions. Coming back enriched with beautiful Sri Lanka nature and culture and lots of wonderful memories. We had a fantastic 2 week holiday in Sri Lanka in December 2017. Right from the first contact with Arjuna he was helpful, polite, prompt to reply to any emails and really adapted our holiday to include everything that we asked for. Our driver Eric was great, so friendly, reliable and safe. Very knowledgeable about the country and places we visited, it was more like having a guide than a driver. All the hotels were very good and of the standard we requested. We loved our trip to Sri Lanka and huge thanks to Arjuna and Eric for everything they did to make it such a wonderful holiday!

Our trip of a life time was enhanced by the service received by Travel Cafe. Arjuna, the owner provided personal attention to detail in arranging the trip via email. He made it very easy to customize our trip to suit our needs. All the hotels were fantastic! We had a private driver for the entire tour. Charles, our driver was the “rockstar” in the driving circles. He knew exactly where to go, safe driver and anticipated our needs before we could think of it. If you’re thinking of a trip to Sri Lanka, contact Arjuna. He will make your trip memorable. Not too many Canadian’s go there but if you are thinking about it, this country is not what you think, it’s 1000 times better. The Travel cafe will recommend things that I could not have thought of, no matter how much research you do.
